Brigadier General (ret.) Sima Vaknin-Gill is an executive professional in various public bodies and a broad spectrum of fields for almost four decades. She held senior positions in the Israeli Air Force intelligence branch, Israel Defence Forces Intelligence agency, and Ministry of Defense, achieving the Brigadier General’s rank and serving as Head of Information Security of the IDF.
While in public service, she served as Director-General of the Ministry of Strategic Affairs and Public Diplomacy.
Vaknin-Gill has deep acquaintance with the international security arena and its leaders, mainly intelligence functions, military industries, and cybersecurity.
She keeps deep acquaintance with Israeli and international government ministries, governmental bureaucracy, and senior officials of the executive authority, mainly in Europe and the U.S. Close ties with Jewish and pro-Israel communities and organizations worldwide.
She also has extensive knowledge of philanthropic matters and the legal, economic, and ideological issues that underlie them – funds, family foundations, and significant donors worldwide.
